Some boys want you to give them attention

In my experience there are men who hold their presence in a obsolete understanding - it is giving a woman attention. They have learnt how to wield their attention like a carrot to bait a woman with. Don’t fall for it. If he shows up fully present (without distractions) and open hearted, he will make a reliable and imitation worthy role model to your children.

Presence is actually true masculine power. It’s how they become great leaders in the boardroom, bedroom and while parenting in the living room. Until they learn this, they are juvenile.

Don’t seed life with them. Teach them with your preferences and rejections.
