What is patriarchy?

When in day to day life a man’s boundary is law and a women’s a suggestion.

When the glass ceiling limits what I, a woman perceive as possible for me to do and have in my life. In what I can experience in relationships, in jobs, in friendships etc etc.

And where in the status quo, I, a man will be perceived as the leader, the authority, the one whose thoughts, opinions, ideas, imaginations, skills are leading the course of our species automatically.

No one teaches us this. We just come into a field of such experiences being lived out and that shapes how we show up in the world and who we believe ourselves to be.
