The Profound and Mundane

She says, 
I swim in the depths, 
afraid of the shallows

He says, 
what if your depths
are someone else’s shallow?

Together they exclaim! 
‘Perhaps we both 
need to drown 
in shallow’s depths 
and the deep shallows’.
