A novel sensation
The human I am, made himself a home in me. A mansion. Each room decorated with morals, values, principles as well as fallacies, pains and patterns. Framed memories are strewn all over the place.
The goddess I am, made herself a home in me too. A cave. Tucked away from sight surrounded by trees, furnished with a simple cauldron of contemplation on a fire of freedom aflame.
This mansion and cave, though side by side, are miles apart. The handsome and the hag never learned to cover this distance.
But today, they both have left their homes. The loneliness of abundance and abundance of loneliness have moved them out. And even before they could cover the distance between them, their eyes met. And that which even hell fears and heaven dreams about happened. Love. They have both fallen in love and also risen to it. This is confusing for them and me alike. For the hag and the handsome know little about the other creature. So they have decided to swap homes as a learning experiment. The goddess in the mansion, the human in the cave. And they are learning to love each other while apart in every bit of the others flamboyance and sparseness.
This internal love affair is evoking a sensation in my body, that has not yet been named. It feels like combustion is freezing and ice is aflame. Like falling into darkness and flying like light. Being trapped and freer than ever before.
What a terrifying delight this novel sensation is.
